The British photographer William Pryor Flyod worked in Hong Kong from 1867 until 1874 and was well known for his portraits and his sublime land and cityscapes. This spectacular panorama of Hong Kong Island, taken by Flyod in the late 1860s, shows ships at anchor in Victoria Habour and the 19th century skyline of the island as seen from the Kowloon District of Hong Kong.
